The homeless from Kotow live extremely modest lives. There is PLN 50 per inhabitant per month. Most adults are the jobless. It becomes the worst in winter, as in summer they can earn some money by working in the forest. Their boss, Adam Drewniak, goes to no end of trouble to help them weather through this most difficult period, and he asked us for help.
Duval Foundation again decided to support the inhabitants of Kotowo in Bircza district, where 40 homeless from all over Poland found shelter. This time we bought footwear that is so needed to work in the forest and hygiene items.
